When she married businessman John Rettie Angus, she moved to Victoria where she composed most of the poems that appeared in her two published volumes. By the mid-1930s she was back in Vancouver, taking an active part in the Vancouver Poetry Society and the local branch of the Canadian Authors Association. She was a versatile writer, contributing poetry, articles, book reviews and juvenile stories to periodicals in Canada, England, Ireland, and the United States. She also published a volume of non-fiction prose, WOMAN UNVEILED, which argues against advances being made by women. Marion died in Vancouver in 1951. |
