Rosendael thumbnail

The New Narratives in the History of Philosophy collection is a repository of digital versions of the works of early modern women thinkers not already available through other sources, such Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO), Gallica (through the Bibliotheque Nationale de France). The collection will include manuscript material, transcriptions of texts, as well as pedagogical tools, like podcasts, produced by both faculty and student researchers. If you have been working on a transcription, and would be interested in including it in the collection, please do get in touch. The inaugural item in the digital collection are the manuscript copies of the letters of Princess Elisabeth of Bohemia to Rene Descartes, the only extent manuscript version of these letters and the basis for all edited editions of the Elisabeth-Descartes correspondence.
