Trade unionists picket outside strikebound Shoppers' Drug Mart store on Robson street in Vancouver as company continued its efforts to obtain an injunction that would prevent B.C. Federation of Labour affiliates from "secondary picketing" in support of striking members of the Retail Clerks. Labour's demand for the removal of injunctions from labour disputes had been a key issue in the election of the NDP government of Dave Barrett the previous year.

Trade unionists picket outside strikebound Shoppers' Drug Mart store on Robson street in Vancouver as company continued its efforts to obtain an injunction that would prevent B.C. Federation of Labour affiliates from "secondary picketing" in support of striking members of the Retail Clerks. Labour's demand for the removal of injunctions from labour disputes had been a key issue in the election of the NDP government of Dave Barrett the previous year.
