Scowlitz Artifact Assemblage Project

Scowlitz Artifact Assemblage Project

The Simon Fraser University Scowlitz collection is comprised of nearly 2,000 artifacts excavated from the Scowlitz site at the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser Rivers between 1992 and 1999. Excavation activities were hosted by the Scowlitz First Nation in partnership with SFU, UBC and Sto:lo Nation archeologists. This collection includes over 1,000 digitized photographic negatives, slides and prints documenting the site and artifacts of the Scowlitz Artifact Assemblage Project, as well as approximately 1,000 pages of site records and field notes.
