The Pole of Keexkw cut into sections during the religious revival in 1918 at Gitlaxt'aamiks. These were then used as supports for the Chiefs new house, built in the Western style. Six of the sections of the pole were later purchased by the Royal Ontario Museum. (Info. from: http://gingolx.ca/nisgaaculture/ancient_villages/villages.html)
