Let me inform you, brothers and sisters, that everything is good in Columbia: thanks God. The summer was dry so there was not quite enough vegetables yielded . And so, in every village it is necessary to collect some potatoes and we will send them to Columbia in spring . I also knew that brothers and sisters in Columbia have sent a gift of two trucks with apples. If you receive them, enjoy . I wish you all the best from God. Love, your brother in Christ, Peter.

Typescript, copy,Summary: Requests Forin's help. Doukhobor community has split since Verigin's death. CCUB [Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood] had promised the smaller group a separate settlement when the CCUB's new leader arrives. Leader has not yet arrived and now CCUB wants to forcefully evict those who do not agree with them. The bigger party (CCUB) caused the smaller party to lose money in 1925. CCUB is now seeking legal rights to remove members of smaller party. Verigin asks that Forin explain circumstances to Supreme Court of British Columbia.
