Description: This press release was issued after a court case was settled in an injured farm workers favour with a cash settlement. Basta Grewal's chest was severly injured by a mushroom augar that did not have an inexpensive 'kill' switch, due to a lack of provincial BC health and safety regulations covering agriculture. Without WCB coverage farmworkers had to appeal to the civil provincial courts for settlements. Circa early 1980s.
