Building Trades unions in their efforts to push back CLRA demands for concessions. The employers' association was completing a lockout vote among its members, having already issued notice to unions that unless new contracts incorporating CLRA cuts were signed, collective agreements could be terminated April 30 and new contracts imposed unilaterally.
