In an action called by the Vancouver and District Labour Council, trade unionists march through downtown Vancouver streets to rally in Robson Square against Bills 19 and 20. The rally, which drew 7,000 people, also kicked off the B.C. Federation of Labour's work-to-rule and ban on overtime, the first phase of job action against the legislation.

They demanded legislation to prevent the closures.
