Description: Preparing huckelberries. These scenes of food processing were initiated in order to fill some of the gaps left by earlier anthropologist and cultural observers among the Gitxsan. The Book Builders of 'Ksan produced a volume on these collecting and processing practices titled Gathering what the Great Nature provided: food traditions of the Gitksan, by the people of 'Ksan.

Description: Crane and Grizzly Bear pole was carved by Oyee for Chief Gints'aadax of the Wolf tribe. When it was erected in ca. 1840 it stood 75 ft tall. This pole collapsed in the Spring of 1947, years after the village had been abandoned due to regular flooding.
