Miles Richardson, chairman of the Council of the Haida Nation, talks to media outside courthouse. Richardson and eight others were given five-month suspended sentences on contempt of court charges for blocking logging on Lyell Island. The 10th person charged, Willard Wilson, was not sentenced because he had pledged not to return to Lyell Island. Svend Robinson was fined $750 for his action.
