This report outlines the task force's key findings, which highlight that serious environmental problems expose gaps in environmental governance and that there are problems in the existing environmental protection institutions. It also argues that the modernization of environmental governance requires a redefinition of key relationships, roles and accountabilities, etc. The report also provides policy recommendations on these findings.
