Slat Armour
Slat armour, fabricated from slats, possibly seine twine, leather and wooden toggles. This particular piece of armour is unique. In the top section is 2 smaller sections that adjust to the shape of the upper torso.
Tlingit coin armour
Cuirass body armour, fabricated from walrus hide, string and Chinese yuan coins dating 1800-1830. donated to NMAI by Dr. A. Eugene Austin (Alonzo Eugene Austin, Jr.), 1929.
