Tlingit war axe, designed with carved handle, bear or wolf crest at shoulder and nephrite blade. Possibly human hair adorning carved face and inset with operculum shells for teeth. Haft is adorned with weaved basketry. Collected by Spanish in 1791.

Wooden club possibly used for fish rather than warfare. The club is carved in the form of an orca complete with head, dorsal and tail fins. The body has been streamlined into a handle, and face carving is at bludgeoning end of club.

Athabaskan caribou antler club. Possibly traded to Tlingit. Image taken at Khabarovsk (Siberia), town on the Amour river.

Stone club collected on the Cook expedition, 1778. Club depicts a face with human hair attached to the head, and a protruding stone tongue.

Likely more of a symbolic weapon or piece of ceremonial regalia.
