Description: B.C. Government Employees Union members file past ballot boxes during membership rally at PNE Agrodrome. The strike votes came as the BCGEU contracts were slated to expire October 31 and the government signalled its intent to move ahead with two particularly contentious bills, 2 and 3, that would dismiss hundreds of workers on November 1 and unilaterally strip out scores of provisions from the union's master agreement.
