Creator: Working Group on Biodiversity
Description
This report lists the main benefits being derived from various ecosystems in China, the main threats and problems jeopardizing the sustained flow of such benefits and specific recommendations for containing these threats. The two over-riding recommendation, however, remains the same as this group made to the council two years ago, namely that China is not taking the destruction of its biodiversity seriously enough and that public awareness is the most important need to raise the levels of attention and investment.
