In response to the problems of natural resource depletion and environmental degradation, the CCICED established a Task Force on Economic Growth and Environment. This report outlines the 3E (Economy-Energy-Environment) model that the Task Force developmed to forecast the trends of economic growth, energy consumption and environmental pollution during the 11th Five Year Development Plan.
