Biographical or Historical Note
Lionel John Kearns is a Vancouver area writer, poet, and professor of English at Simon Fraser University. His work began to appear in little magazines in Canada, Mexico and the United States during the early sixties, initially influenced by the writings of Charles Olson and strongly tied to the circumstantial and particular in his own experience.
