Given the firmly established Vancouver punk community and all the attention that some of the more prominent bands were getting. it was always exciting when a band came along from seemingly nowhere to establish themselves on their own terms, with their own sound. A case in point was Insex, a band with a balanced keyboard/guitar sound who quickly built a following t"rough energetic and entertaining gigs. Insex released a 7" ep on Vancouver's MoDaMu label co-operative. However, "Off The Deep End" is an early unreleased demo. The band called it a day after a couple of years of gigging, with three members, the Addington brothers, eventually going on to co-found Family Plot.
