Description

[Letterhead: Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood. Doukhobors in Canada] October 14th, 1908 St[ation] Verigin Let me inform you Brothers and Sisters, one railcar of oat, about 2000 bushels, has been sent to Dolina Ootischenia. Also were sent five horses in good condition, two from the homestead, two were borrowed from Tambovo village, and one – from Voznesenie village. There were also cows, one from Oospenie village, one from Otradnoe village, and two from Burtsev's farm. I ask you Brothers and Sisters to share edible wheat. I have heard in Perekhodnoe village the wheat is not suitable for food, it was frost-damaged. So every village from the Northern district should send 100 bushels of good edible wheat to Perekhodnoe. I wish you all the best from Our Lord Your brother Peter
