In the interview, Mrs Miyamoto discusses her experience living on Powell Street in Vancouver, BC. Her father was a barber and owned Ikeda Barbershop at 360 Powell Street. During that time she attended Strathcona Elementary School and the Vancouver Japanese Language School.
