Description

Detail of the carved and painted formline panels. The elaborate panels are a mix of human-like figures and water based figures. This figure has a salmon or whale in its stomach and a large dorsal fin. The panels likely tell the legend of the Strong Man or the Lazy Son in Law. These stories are often illustrated by Gonakadet and Duk-toohl.
