Description

Frog/Raven Pole, carved by George Benson and John Sam. This Haida crest pole displays the raven and frog. Recent research indicates that the original pole was donated to the people of Alaska by Edward Scott of the Kaigani Haida village of Klinkwan on Prince of Wales Island. This replica was carved in the early 1940s by the CCC carvers.
