The Spencer Pole was raised by a women from Kasaan in memory of her husband from Victoria, named Spencer. the top figure represents Spencer, below is raven holding the moon, and strong man holding a seal. The base figure represents a Haida and Tlingit myth character, about a weak boy who overcame all his strong relatives.
