Description: Housefront formerly painted as a sea monster has been re-created as a raven with its head protruding from above the entry way. The mouth of the raven was rigged to open and be used as an entry during potlatches. There is a large pole carved by Mungo Martin on the far side of the house which formerly stood at the entry.

Description: Sitka National Historic Park. The original Raven Memorial was donated by George Staney or Thomas Snuck of the Tlingit village of Tuxekan in 1903. This replica was carved by George Federoff and Ralph Branson, after the original was accidentally burned in 1959.
