Pickets outside Adams Labs in Surrey, scene of a bitter nine-month-old strike, including attacks on pickets and jail sentences handed down to strikers. Photo shows left to right: Ildiko Szekely, Dan Tracy, Maureen Black, Barbara Brooks. They were finally successful in winning a first agreement that was ratified by 92 per cent April 10.
