CUPW [Canadian Union of Postal Workers] information picket strike

Vancouver local of CUPW demonstrates against six percent postal rate hike, the second hike in a year. Canada Post had recently been transformed into a crown corporation which the union argued should have resulted in better, cheaper service. Instead, the corporation was favouring businesses through cheap bulk carrier rates while making working Canadians pay the bills, CUPW charged.
