Children in Vancouver join thousands of others around the world in signing one of two B.C. peace banners for December 8 Washington, D.C. peace summit between US President Ronald Reagan and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. Hundreds of similar banners were flown at the summit signed by children around the globe. Shown left to right are: Amy Radosevic, Jessica Drouin, Shea and Sean O'Neill, Ken and Dina Saaninen and Kevin Chrunik. In back ground are two parents, Fran Saaninen (right) and Juliane Drouin, who sewed the banners.
