Union of Psychiatric Nurses members picket Woodlands pyschiatrict institute. Finance Minister Mel Couveilier held out promise of 20.9 per cent wage hike over two years but government negotiators were not making that offer. Psych nurses were seeking job security while the government was downsizing institutions, and to close the wage gap with regular registered nurses.
