Fighting for Canada a public meeting with David Orchard & Dennis Brown/ DAVID ORCHARD, a Saskatchewan farmer and chair of Citizens Concerned About Free Trade (CCAFT), is one of Canada's best known critics of the free trade agreements, the FTA and NAFTA, and now their extension, the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI). He is the author of the best-selling book, The Fight for Canada: Four Centuries of Resistance to American Expansionism, described by eminent U.S. historian Howard Zinn as "devastatingly accurate... a fine piece of research and written with the kind of clarity that makes it accessible to a large public, which it deserves."
