We invite you to join us in a dance marathon in support of peace and humanitarian projects-12 hours of non-stop fun, music and entertainment - The theme for Give Peace a Dance '88 is Give Children A Chance. Your dancing supports projects of the following organizations: OXFAM - Daycare Centre Project in Nicaragua. SALVAIDE - Orphan's Project in El Salvador. Save the Children Fund of B.C. - Children's Project in Guatemala. CUSO - Support for children of displaced families in El Salvador. End the Arms Race Coalition - Vancouver's Annual Walk for Peace. Pacific Peace Umbrella Society - Seed capital for Give Peace a Dance '89 - You participate in 3 ways: 1. Buy an advance ticket for at any VTC/CBO outlet (advance tickets are limited). 2. Buy a ticket at the gate for . 3. Collect sponsorships (minimum ) - bring the collected cash or cheque (made out to "Give Peace a Dance") to the gate for free admission - Children under 12, accompanied by a parent, entered by donation - All this and prizes too! Bring in sponsorships to get a Free T-Shirt. 0 or more in sponsorships qualifies you for Special Prizes. Grand Prizes for top fundraisers. Prizes for the most cash raised, oldest and youngest dancer, best costume, best team name, endurance, most involved company, etc - TEAMS!
