Wow! Another year has passed and it's that time AGAIN! - PARTY TIME. If you haven't booked your XMAS PARTY yet - you better get at it! Again this year we've tried to make things even more convenient for you. SPECIALLY PRICED MENU PACKAGES with a broad range of available items will allow you maximum flexibility. Also, we are delaying the band start time a bit to ensure that the majority of diners are served./ This year we have attempted to provide the highest quality bands for you and in reviewing 1984, I'm sure you will agree. Many of the bands now playing in the 'other' places, got their start right here at THE PUMP. Three of Vancouver's top club acts will appear during the pre-Xmas period./ December 3 -8 THE DAVID RAVEN BAND featuring the dynamic LORI PAUL, David's new band is the best he's ever had. Saxaphonist DAVID WOODWARD from POWDER BLUES add an attractive dimension to this group of first class entertainers./ December 10 - 15 LAKE - SHINDELL BAND more dynamo in SANDRA LAKE who when coupled with guitarist BRENT SHINDELL have formed another of Vancouver's major club draws./ December 17 - 22 VOX PHANTOM no one will believe that this is a trio. RANDY MURRAY is an excellent guitarist, singer and songwriter. Formerly with DAVID RAVEN he formed Sensible Shoes and has now evolved with this power trio. Obsure hits from the 70's will magnetize you to the dance floor thinking 'Hey I know that song'./ After Xmas things get better yet. December 27-29, THE B-SIDES. A long time favorite, these guys constantly pack THE PUMP. Wear off some turkey! NEW YEARS EVE promises to be the best one ever. Featuring the DAVID RAVEN BAND, we know that this evening will sell out early. Tickets are just $35.00 and includes complete dinner plus hats and all that goofy stuff./ Hey! More great news - write this date on the back of your hand and don't wash it till DECEMBER 11th. Our 14th - that's right, FOURTEENTH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS WINE & CHEESE PARTY. That is always rated as one of our best 20 parties of the year.
