Description
Pole of the house of Gwinuu'. Detail of the Pearled-Raven, and an ancestor, Gisgyawtu (Drifted-Aside). Gisgyawtu landed on the coast of Alaska after the Great Flood had abated. Originally, the figure held a bow of abalone pearl with which he killed a monster known as Black-Bear-of-the-Water.
