Drum-Hangs-On

This is a detail of the lower section of the pole, showing an engraved Halibut that is followed by a Split-Eagle. At the base of the pole is a Bear's-Den-Person, a human figure with a hole in the centre of the body to represent the opening to the bear's den, and then a Drum or Drum-Person that is attached to the right side of the pole.
