Description
This mortuary was for a niece of Chief Skedans. On the front plaque was a mountain goat. At the top of the post was a grizzly bear holding a small killer whale. On the face of the post five coppers were incised, two on each side and one at the front.The pole is shown here after a tree split the upper section from the lower standing section.
