Description

Gitksan, Ksan village, Dog Salmon pole from Gitwangak village which was cast to produced this copy in fibre glass for the 'Ksan Historical Village. It was part of the trade to bring the original pole that had fallen at Gitwangak to Ottawa for restoration and installation in the Grand Hall of the Canadian Museum of Civilization in 1989.
